Vegan Silk

Vegan silk is the fabric derived from the fiber of banana stalk, which is meticulously woven into yarns and then eventually used to make sarees. They are also known as “Vaazhai Naaru Pattu" in Tamil, which literally means 'Banana fiber silk'. These sarees are not only organic and bio-degradable, but they also give an exotic, rich look and are completely cruelty-free! Vegan silk sarees are soft, light weight and easy to drape unlike pure silk sarees.
